Two research mixt unities (UMR) are associated to the Nano-Rennes platform. There is the Foton Institute (team OHM) and the IETR, in INSA and in Rennes 1.
The Nano-Rennes platform is also a member of a “second circle” network of the CNRS with 8 other platforms, in the bigger network Renatech. These networks make it possible to highlight each of the laboratories concerned, but above all they serve to promote the collaboration of research institutes at the national level. This collaboration is a key to success and tends to improve the quality and possibilities of French, European and even international research.
